The grounds of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral came alive yesterday afternoon as our parish family and guests gathered for Kotlicijada 2026.
From the fragrant woodsmoke of open fires to the lively performances of our musical guests, the cathedral grounds offered a vibrant backdrop for an afternoon centered on fellowship, heritage, and time-honored open-kettle cooking. Attendees of all generations filled the grounds, sharing long tables, sampling recipes from every kettle, and enjoying the company of neighbors and friends.
A gathering of this scale represents a significant undertaking, and our parish extends its deepest gratitude to Bojan Popović and Slobodan Kovačević for their outstanding leadership and organization. Their tireless dedication and planning ensured that every family felt welcome and that the afternoon ran smoothly from beginning to end.
