The Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral joyfully invites children and families to participate in our Vrbica Children’s Mini-Retreat, a beautiful afternoon of learning, creativity, fellowship, and prayer as we prepare to celebrate the Feast of the Entrance of the Lord into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday / Vrbica).
This special program is designed to help our children experience the meaning and joy of this beloved feast in a way that is engaging, educational, and spiritually enriching.

Ages: 5–14 (Kindergarten through 8th Grade)
Program Activities
During the retreat, children will participate in a variety of fun and meaningful activities, including:
- Orthodox Faith / Religion Class
- Arts and Crafts
- Music Class
- Snack and Fellowship
- Egg Hunt
- Vespers Service with Children’s Procession
The retreat will conclude with Vespers at 4:00 PM, followed by the traditional Vrbica procession, where children will carry palm branches and participate in the joyful celebration of Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem.

Registration is online only.
Registration Fee: $25 per child
Important: Registration will close once we reach the maximum of 220 children, so we encourage families to register early.
