Today, our Cathedral community came together to continue a cherished Nativity tradition—traveling to Wisconsin to cut badnjak branches that will be distributed to our parishioners on Christmas Eve. This meaningful custom connects us to our faith, our heritage, and one another as we prepare spiritually for the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord.
The day was marked by beautiful winter scenery, fellowship, and joyful conversation, as parishioners of all ages worked side by side. It was a true expression of community and shared purpose, reflecting the spirit of unity that defines parish life.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rade Petrović for his generosity in allowing us to cut branches on his property, and to all our parishioners—young and old—who participated and helped make this gathering so special.
May this shared labor and time together help prepare our hearts for the coming joy of Christ’s Nativity, and strengthen the bonds of love within our Cathedral family. ☦️
