On Memorial Day Monday, May 31, 2021, the clergy of Holy Resurrection Cathedral will serve a Parastos (Memorial Service) at Montrose Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois, beginning at 10:00 AM in the oldest Serbian section near the entrance to the cemetery. Following the Parastos, the clergy will visit the graves of our beloved deceased clergy, founders, members and parishioners buried in this historic cemetery for the Serbian people of Chicago. We encourage all of those who have deceased relatives buried at Montrose Cemetery to join us in prayer on this Memorial Day, a tradition we intend to revive in our community. Please bring the names of your reposed loved ones for the Parastos, and ask one of the priests to visit the graves of your family members. May the joy of the Resurrection ever continue to grant us comfort in the loss of our loved ones and give us courage to remain on the sacred path of our Holy Orthodox Faith!
CHRIST IS RISEN!
