The Holy Resurrection Cathedral community joyfully welcomed students, teachers, and families back to St. Sava Academy to kick off the new academic year.
The year officially commenced with the Invocation of the Holy Spirit and prayers of blessing, served by the Cathedral clergy. United in prayer, the parish and school community asked the Holy Spirit to guide, protect, and illumine our students and educators throughout the months ahead.
This academic year marks a historic milestone in the growth and vitality of the Academy:
- Record Enrollment: Over 230 students enrolled, marking the highest attendance in school history.
- Expanded Faculty: Dedicated new educators joining the teaching staff to support robust academic and spiritual formation.
- Campus Renovations: Comprehensive facility improvements completed over the summer to enrich the daily learning environment, including:
- A completely remodeled gymnasium, cafeteria, and kitchen
- Reconfigured, optimized classrooms
- Brand-new flooring installed throughout the entire school
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parishioners, benefactors, and volunteers whose continuous stewardship and hard work made these extensive renovations possible. Please keep our students, teachers, and administration in your prayers for a safe, fruitful, and spiritually uplifting school year.
