Yesterday our community joyfully welcomed students, teachers, and families back to St. Sava Academy for the start of the new academic year.
The year commenced with the Invocation of the Holy Spirit and prayers for the beginning of the school year, served by our Cathedral clergy. United in prayer, the parish and school community invoked the grace of the Holy Spirit to guide, protect, and illumine our students and educators in the months ahead.
This academic year marks a historic chapter in the growth and vitality of the Academy:
- Record Enrollment: Over 230 students enrolled, marking our highest attendance to date.
- Expanded Faculty: Welcoming new, dedicated educators to our teaching staff to support academic and spiritual formation.
- Campus Renovations: Significant improvements across the school facility to enrich the students’ daily environment, including:
- A fully remodeled gymnasium, cafeteria, and kitchen
- Reconfigured, optimized classrooms
- Brand-new flooring installed throughout the entire school
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parishioners, benefactors, and volunteers whose continuous stewardship made these extensive summer renovations possible. We ask our entire Cathedral family to keep our students, teachers, and administration in their prayers for a safe, fruitful, and spiritually uplifting school year.
